There are a lot of scared people out there. And it’s probably very easy to get that way reading the news or watching TV. We’re extra bad this year with all the political hype and agenda putting everything under a magnifying glass. All that and no one has even put on a costume yet.
It’s easy for people, even you, to get scared. You can’t be though, and you can’t let your clients get that way either. We’re the professionals. This is what we do. Markets go up, and markets go down. People still need a place to live.
It is so important to educate your clients. Let them know that mortgage money is still out there. Let them know that there are some Amazing. Yes, that’s right, Amazing with a capital “A” deals out there. It shouldn’t be a scary time. Put your clients in touch with what great opportunities await those who act. I stress “those who act.” Because many call them selves buyers, and even though they’re physically looking, they’re paralyzed too. Educate people. Make sure they understand that we’re here for them. We’re ready to help them accomplish their goals, and under budget.
October can be scary, but it should be because of ghosts, goblins, and witches, not anything to do with real estate markets.
