I was there. I saw it. Lots and lots of real estate agents, brokers, some HVAC engineers, some lenders, and even some other business folks I’m sure; they were all in that big room. What were they doing? They were focusing on having great businesses. Doing what’s best for their client.
That’s truly great.
Nobody looked sad. In fact there was a lot of energy. Excitement and energy, were probably the best two words to describe what I was a part of. There were agents in the business less than a year, and agents over 30 years in the business. There were professionals of all different ages. They represented all different areas of the country. I met people from Virginia, Maryland, Texas and Kentucky. And I wasn’t even being that social. All of them were there to focus on improving their balance in life, and what could be measured as success in multiple areas of life.
It wasn’t all about sales. It wasn’t all about transactions. It was about “Living the Good Life!”
That’s what I’m talking about.
I was proud to be in that room today.
All of these people were smart. They weren’t having a pity party in the office. They were surrounding themselves with positive people. They were sharing ideas to improve their level of service for their clients. They were focusing on being even better in 2009.
To all those people in that room today, I commend them. And I challenge them to keep up that level of focus, and intensity. Keep striving for those, written, goals.
I’m glad I was in that room today!
