O.k. we’re all in this to sell houses. And we’re all working on the best ways to do that. We know it helps to find a buyer. And one with money is even better. How do we get these buyers attention, and in an effective, and (also important) cost effective manner?

One of my ideas = personal websites for individual listings
This isn’t the newest of ideas. There’s even a company that does it for a pretty in expensive fee. However, you don’t own the domain name (as far as I understand it) with them. Well at least you don’t own it for long.
What I’m doing is buying a bunch of domain names. Setting up one with a website with features, photos, and more – Of course linking it to my site. But I’m also buying some other somewhat similare domain names, and forwarding them all to the site.
WHAT DO YOU THINK? It’s more expensive than that cheap company that does it, but I don’t like templates. And I get to own the domain name, which even after the listing sells, I can have, and point to my main site, or whatever I want. And it’s still cheaper than running an ad in the paper – Which we all used to do.
